My name is Martin Hale. I worked as an office equipment technician for a county school district, then kept repairing scanners and printers because the machines followed me home. I am most interested in the practical side: how to get a readable image from ordinary paper that has already had a hard life.
I am not a dealer and I do not appraise equipment. If you ask whether a scanner is "worth anything," my answer will probably be that it is worth cleaning if you already own it.
